Below is a list of CHLC’s favorite Confessional Lutheran websites:

LCMS Official Websites:

The website of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod.  This site has a wealth of information on the synod, the Lutheran faith, and dozens of resources from liturgical tools to teaching tools.

The website of the Iowa District East.

The website of the Iowa District East’s camp.  From camp Io-Dis-E-Ca’s home page: “Located in Eastern Iowa, it is a great place for activities, events, family gatherings, and fellowship for all ages. We offer many programs for different interests during the summer for children ranging from pre-school through high school. These programs provide a wonderful opportunity for individuals to grow and strengthen their faith.”

Bible Study Resources:

This website is equivalent to Google for the Holy Bible.  Their search bar allows you to search chapters of books of Scripture, specific verses, phrases, or topics.

The website of the Lutheran Lectionary Project.  This website provides a calendar of the traditional 1-year Lutheran Lectionary. You can pull up the propers for any day by simply clicking on it.

An online version of the Book of Concord, which house the Lutheran confessional documents.  The website includes an easy to use search bar on the left side of the page.

Radio Programs:

Issues Etc. is described as “thought radio for the thinking Christian.”  This radio program consists of interviews from among the most talented theologians in the LCMS.  You can listen live Mon-Fri from 3pm-5pm CT or choose episodes from their on-demand archive.

The Podcast radio show of Rev. Bryan Wolfmueller and Rev. Evan Goeglein.  These two take on various apologetic and polemic topics and periodically interview guests from around the LCMS.

This radio program plays continuous music from the traditional Lutheran liturgy.

This radio program is a continuous broadcasting of all of your favorite Confessional Lutheran programs. Pirate Christian Radio declares: “if you are looking for Christian programming that is truly Christ Centered and proclaims the good news of Christ’s death and resurrection for your sins, then you will find Pirate Christian Radio to be a refreshing stream of living water that quenches the thirst of your soul.”

Yet another excellent, confessional, Lutheran podcast.  The program is hosted by Rev. Bill Cwirla and Rev. Craig Donofrio, both currently pastors in the state of California.

The Lutheran Church Missouri Synod subreddit

Worldview Everlasting is a video program starring Rev. Jonathan Fisk.  Rev. Fisk expounds on the Sunday Gospel reading every Greek Tuesday and answers email questions from his viewers every Friday.

The great journal of the Lutheran liturgy, Gottesdienst, also has a regularly updated blog!
